Quick & Easy Comedy Fund Raising Script Nothing to memorize, no expensive costumes, only one rehearsal! And it's funny! What it is Queen for Almost a Day is a delightfully silly script which has your "contestants" create an outrageous outfit from the back of their closet or thrift store. They will participate in a contest which awards the top prize to the most deserving gal. (The winner is selected by audience applause.) (Remember "QUEEN FOR A DAY" from 1960's television? If you don't, take a look at YouTube link.... Take Me to You Tube! That's what we're spoofing.) The ladies (who may or may not really be female) are introduced by your announcer who is reading their wacky life's story from index cards. Super duper easy! Okay, let's just admit it - this is even funnier and better with hairy guys playing the girls! This is good, clean, family fun, used by many organizations, including churches, to raise funds. (See my "References" page.) Did I mention your announcer thinks he's an Elvis look-a-like? THANK YOU VERY MUCH Of course, your "beauties" must answer a question - they've got their answer on their own index card! How easy is that? PLUS. . . It's recommended you combine your "Queen" contest with other money makers while you have a captive audience! SELL REFRESHMENTS. HOT DOGS, DRINKS
